The purpose of choosing this theme is to delve into the intrinsic logic of the transformation of the international system and the construction of soft power that corresponds to the growth of China's economic strength. The main aspects covered include: the impact of the transformation of the international system on China's path to peaceful development, the choice of diplomatic strategies in China's peaceful development process, the elements, resources, and capabilities of China's soft power construction, the theory and practice of American neo-conservatism in international relations, the formation of the U.S. institutional hegemonic system and the current international order, and many other aspects. Additionally, the authors of this book explore specific issues related to the transformation of the international system from the perspectives of regional and national studies, such as regional cooperation mechanisms in Asia, the EU's energy diplomacy and China-EU energy cooperation, the democratization process in the Middle East, and Russia's energy diplomacy, among others. It is believed that such research will be helpful in broadening the research horizons of international relations in our country.
