The book is divided into four main parts: Mostly "France and the French People," including 30 articles such as "The History of Paris" and "Napoleon's Campaigns," which introduce knowledge related to French history, geography, culture, and sports, as well as information about the work, life, diet, entertainment, family, education, and healthcare of the French. The second part, "Politics and Economic Life," includes 20 articles such as "The EU" and "General de Gaulle's Foreign Policy," covering topics like World War II, international organizations, currency and taxation, economic, France's political system, economic status, local autonomy, foreign policy, and the relationship between France and the EU. The third part, "Cultural Life," includes 30 articles such as "The Seven Wonders of the World" and "Avian Influenza," covering topics like world history, literature, science and technology, sports, medicine, public health, and employment. The fourth part, "Other Content," includes 20 articles such as "The Crow and the Fox" and "Little Red Riding Hood," featuring New Year's cards, thank-you notes, application letters, as well as fables and jokes.
Within each part, articles related in content or belonging to the same field are grouped together, without being strictly arranged by difficulty level. Therefore, students do not need to read them in order. They can start with the simpler articles in each part and gradually progress to the more challenging ones as their vocabulary expands and their understanding of various grammatical structures deepens. This approach tends to be more effective.
