"Exercise I" focuses on vocabulary practice, selecting about five words closely related to the text comprehension as questions. Each question is followed by multiple-choice answers to practice semantic and usage aspects.
"Exercise II" focuses on content practice, selecting about five questions closely related to the text content as issues. Each question is followed by multiple-choice answers based on the text content for practice.
"Exercise III" proposes two questions related to the main theme and central content of the text, encouraging students to think, analyze, and summarize from the perspective of the discourse.
"Exercise IV" is for fast reading, selecting a short passage with similar themes and content to the main text as the language material for each lesson. About three multiple-choice questions are provided for comprehension practice.
