Features: The college entrance examination (Gaokao) is currently a fair and effective nationwide selection test, and its questions reflect the country's assessment requirements and instructional guidance for each subject. Since the Gaokao will continue, all candidates must understand it, prepare for it, and familiarize themselves with its questions, which is a crucial part of the preparation. In 2006, 16 provinces and municipalities organized independent Gaokao question-setting, although they developed their own supplementary examination guidelines based on local conditions and designed Gaokao questions accordingly, breaking the pattern of a single nationwide exam paper. While these Gaokao questions may vary in volume, point distribution, and overall style, they all adhere to the examination guidelines. From this perspective, all candidates should not only be familiar with their local Gaokao papers but also understand those used in other regions. Based on this, we have compiled all 2006 Gaokao questions into a book and invited expert question-setters and senior teachers from across the country to provide detailed answers, enhancing the book's reference and usability value. The book is divided into six volumes: Chinese, Mathematics (Arts), Mathematics (Science), English, Comprehensive Humanities (including politics, history, and geography), and Comprehensive Science (including physics, chemistry, and biology). English includes both listening and non-listening versions, combined into one volume. Additionally, a few points need clarification:
1. The English exam papers are arranged with the listening version first and the non-listening version second. The book comes with an audio recording of the listening sections, which were recorded in their original form during the Gaokao and follow the same order as the questions.
2. Following the reform of the Gaokao, the differences between the arts and science mathematics papers have been increased to reflect the distinct requirements of different subjects. In 2006, the differences between the arts and science mathematics papers in the same region were significant, so they are published separately in this book.
3. All questions in this book are based on official samples from the nationwide exam or provincial/municipal exams, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Each set of questions includes detailed answers, which are uniformly provided at the end of the book. These can be used by teachers for review and guidance or by students for self-assessment.
4. The book is bound in a detachable format, allowing candidates to use it for mock tests and adaptive training during the later stages of Gaokao preparation. During the review phase, candidates should practice past Gaokao questions and some mock questions, especially those designed according to the new examination guidelines. It is also emphasized that practicing past Gaokao questions from their local region is important, and appropriately selecting other Gaokao questions from other regions is equally important.
5. The book cover features a scratch card for verifying its authenticity after purchase. Scratch the card to check, and you will also receive a gift card. For specific recharge details, please visit www.TL100.com.
