Features: Approximately 80% of computer failures are caused by human error, which results from improper usage. Good usage habits are the guardian of computers. Improper usage includes unsuitable working environments (e.g., excessive temperature, electromagnetic interference, impacts), incorrect use of system commands (e.g., accidental file deletion, hard drive formatting, or using faulty application software), and failure to perform necessary daily maintenance. When using a computer, it is important to first pay attention to the order of turning it on and off. When turning on, peripherals (such as printers, scanners, etc.) should be powered on first. If the monitor's power supply is not connected to the main unit, the monitor should be turned on first, followed by the main unit. The shutdown sequence is the opposite; the main unit should be turned off first (following the correct order to avoid damaging applications), and then the peripherals. This is done to minimize damage to the main unit, as switching peripherals on or off while the main unit is powered on can cause significant electrical surges that may damage the main unit.
Secondly, it is important not to frequently turn the computer on or off, as this places great stress on the components, especially the hard drive. Generally, at least one minute should pass after shutdown before turning the computer back on. Additionally, it is particularly important to avoid shutting down the computer while it is in operation. Sudden shutdown during data read/write can potentially damage drives (such as hard drives, floppy drives, etc.).
Lastly, it is essential not to move the computer while it is running, even when it is not in use, as excessive vibration can damage components like hard drives.
