I have late postpartum hemorrhage and need help

Patient's question:

Cesarean section with tubal ligation resulted in significant postpartum hemorrhage.

Doctor's answer:

Measures should be taken in response to different causes of postpartum hemorrhage. In the past, curettage was often the first choice. In recent years, it has been advocated that for cases with less or moderate bleeding, excluding birth canal injury or tumors, and with no obvious tissue residue shown on ultrasound, conservative treatment with uterine contractions (oxytocin and prostaglandins) and antibiotics can be initiated first. If necessary, estrogen can be used to promote endometrial repair. If there is tissue residue in the uterine cavity, antibiotics should be used first, followed by curettage 48 to 72 hours later. Postoperatively, antibiotics and uterine contractions should continue to be administered.
