Patient's question:
It's been so long since I got pregnant, the doctor said I have endometriosis.Doctor's answer:
The causes of endometritis are closely related to women's lifestyle habits. Tuberculous endometritis is caused by infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis and is often secondary to tuberculous salpingitis. Non-tuberculous endometritis is more common and is caused by general pathogenic bacteria infections. It is often seen during menstruation, miscarriage, and postpartum: such as residual placenta and fetal membranes after delivery, sexual activity during menstruation, prolonged uterine bleeding, incomplete miscarriage infection, unsanitary gynecological examinations, upward infections during intrauterine procedures such as induced abortion and various vaginal surgeries, upward infections from cervical inflammation or vaginitis, and infections caused by the necrosis of endometrial polyps or submucosal myomas.
