Can I still get pregnant with endometritis?

Patient's question:

I am in my second marriage with my current husband. Although both of us have children, we still want to have a child that belongs to us after getting married. However, for several months now, I haven't been pregnant. When I went to the hospital for a check-up, I was diagnosed with endometritis. Can I still get pregnant with endometritis?

Doctor's answer:

Hello, surgical treatment: For severe patients where drug therapy and physical therapy are ineffective, the option to undergo cervical conization or total hysterectomy can be considered. Surgical treatment is not recommended unless absolutely necessary. If diagnosed as a tumor, it should be treated as a tumor. The pus should be sent for bacterial culture and sensitivity testing as a reference for selecting antibiotics.
