Features: This book explains and analyzes some key issues of the application of geographic spatial information in regional multi-objective planning. Based on an analysis of the characteristics and requirements of regional multi-objective planning, as well as the relationship between geographic spatial information and regional multi-objective planning, a geographic spatial information model method oriented toward regional multi-objective planning is established, and some key technical issues involved in the model are analyzed and studied. This research addresses the needs of regional multi-objective planning by conducting spatial analysis of the mutual relationships between various elements in the planning process, establishing the content and methods for tracking and evaluating regional multi-objective planning, and proposing a decision support information system model for regional multi-objective planning. This study only explains some basic issues of the application of geographic spatial information in regional multi-objective planning, attempting to propose a planning decision support method system based on geographic spatial information and technology to enhance the scientificity and operability of planning. However, there is still much work to be done to establish a practical planning decision support information system. This book is suitable for technical personnel in information centers of various government departments, information planning management departments, geographic information technology researchers and engineering technicians, relevant personnel in scientific research institutions and universities, and other interested groups.
