Features: Economic globalization has led to the internationalization of the labor market, making the importance of international labor standards increasingly prominent. After China joined the WTO, some countries began to link the recognition of China's market economy status with labor standards issues, causing this problem to be more frequently reflected in China-foreign economic and trade disputes. Clearly, the Chinese government has recognized this point. The 2006 annual guidelines for the National Social Science Fund Project of China designated the topic "Research on Labor Standards Issues under Economic Globalization and Their Impact and Countermeasures on China." This book conducts an international political economy analysis of the implementation of international labor standards, aiming to reveal that international labor standards possess the characteristics of global public goods, and the main mechanism for providing these global public goods is negotiation. The book focuses on analyzing the implementation of labor standards through bilateral and regional free trade negotiations. This book holds significant theoretical meaning and practical value for China in addressing labor standards issues, coordinating and resolving differences with other countries on this issue, and for China's comprehensive integration into the international system and achieving the greatest possible peaceful development.
