The Political Department of the General Staff Department organized and coordinated the editing work and reviewed the manuscript. The Military Academy of Sciences reviewed the manuscript. Selected Military Writings of Luo Ruiqing includes eighty articles, speeches, and telegrams related to military affairs by Comrade Luo Ruiqing from 1933 to 1978, and was published on the occasion of the centenary of his birth. During the editing process, the original form of the selected manuscripts was preserved, with only some historical and textual corrections made to certain manuscripts. The records of speeches were textually organized. For ease of reading, necessary introductions and annotations were provided. Missing or unclear characters in the manuscripts were replaced with "," and numbers or names due to confidentiality or unsuitability for public disclosure were replaced with "×."
