Features: Entering senior high school, many students' academic performance fluctuates greatly. How can we ensure steady improvement in their scores? Through tracking and studying the learning processes of a large number of senior high school students, the Beijing Tianli Examination Information Network found that errors in their learning, especially in various mock exams, are highly diverse, exhibiting a "personalized" trend. These seemingly minor mistakes often lead to lost points in exams. How can we avoid such errors? Establishing a "error logbook" is undoubtedly a good approach. Researchers, based on the characteristics of different subjects, categorized thousands of various types of errors and extracted typical "error patterns" for commonly mistaken questions in each subject. From the characteristics of these error patterns, they developed problem-solving strategies tailored to specific types of errors.
This series of books, based on the subject-specific features, divides the "Topic Explanation" section according to the 2006 exam syllabus guidelines, categorizes and analyzes typical, easily mistaken questions within each topic, and compiles "Click on Typical and Easily Mistaken Questions." The "Mistake Warning" section analyzes aspects such as subject weaknesses, exam techniques, study habits, learning methods, and learning attitudes, aiming to help students gain "treasures" from "rocks" on the mountain. Practice makes perfect. How much experience have we truly absorbed from others? The researchers have specially dedicated the "Extrapolate and Generalize" section, which includes questions selected from genuine college entrance exams and the latest mock exams. The purpose is to allow students to practice "exam training" on frequently tested and easily mistaken points, thereby steadily improving their academic performance.
The "My Error Logbook" section provides ample blank space for students to record their reflections on mistakes, including errors from exams, classic mistakes from classroom exercises, typical mistakes from extracurricular teaching materials, and their insights into solving these mistakes—unique content that reflects their personal experiences. Students can also exchange their logbooks with each other, aiming to achieve the effect of "using others' spears to attack the Gaokao fortress." Additionally, while using this book, you can create personalized training plans and tutoring schedules in the "Error File Management" section.
Generally, students who score above 80% on their first exam should review their mistakes within three days through self-checks or by asking teachers or classmates to verify whether they have mastered the relevant points. Students who score below 80% should re-answer the exam papers or questions within one week after the exam. If they still do not achieve full marks, they should record the mistakes again and repeat this process until they score perfectly. If students require four or more attempts, they should first undergo specialized training on the corresponding content before attempting the exam again. Additionally, at the end of the semester, you can select questions from your "My Error Logbook" for review.
The editors hope that students can achieve self-management in their studies by organizing their own "error logbooks." The editors also hope that after you achieve your dreams, you will send your logbook to us, so you can contribute to the review and preparation efforts of younger students. Address: 13th Floor, Building A, LinDa Tower, No. 8 Dongtucheng Road, Beijing, Zip Code: 100013. We sincerely welcome your error logbooks, and to express our gratitude, we will also send you a beautiful gift!
Friendly Reminder: After establishing your "My Error Logbook," do not let it gather dust. You must frequently review, study, reflect, and summarize to ensure that this carefully crafted logbook truly serves to promote learning and improve your abilities.
