Please let me know what are the different types of infertility.

Patient's question:

I don't know which type of infertility I belong to.

Doctor's answer:

Hello! The symptoms of female infertility are as follows:
(1) Irregular menstruation. Insufficient congenital foundation, poor postnatal nutrition, multiple miscarriages or deliveries, impaired kidney function leading to blocked blood and qi metabolism, weakened blood and qi causing dysfunction in the heart, liver, spleen, etc., imbalance in the (Chong Ren) meridians, uterine coldness, and the impact of long-term treatment for other diseases can all cause menstrual irregularities in women.
(2) Kidney deficiency. Insufficient congenital foundation, poor postnatal nutrition, multiple miscarriages or deliveries, accumulation of cold and dampness, chronic illness, excessive masturbation or frequent sexual activity are all factors that can lead to kidney deficiency. The kidneys store the essence of the body, and weakened kidney qi can disrupt the meridians, causing menstrual irregularities and other issues, ultimately leading to infertility. This is also a significant factor in female infertility symptoms.
(3) Anemia. Insufficient congenital foundation, poor postnatal nutrition, chronic illness, frail body, pale and sallow complexion, pale lips; frequent dizziness, blurred vision, weak limbs, tinnitus, chest tightness, frequent dreams, aversion to cold, poor spirits. Often accompanied by frequent urination, dysmenorrhea, and leukorrhea.
(4) Obesity. Truly obese individuals have firm fat. However, the fat on their faces and bodies often appears loose. They may experience menstrual irregularities, dizziness, lower back pain and fatigue, chest tightness, pale complexion, frequent or thick leukorrhea, cold and dampness obstructing the spleen, and some may also have frequent urination and white tongue with a wiry and slippery pulse. In other words, it is a form of (empty obesity), and such patients often find it difficult to conceive.
(5) Habitual miscarriage. Insufficient heart qi, poor blood circulation, weakened blood and qi, and insufficient blood to nourish the fetus. Although these patients can conceive, they often experience spontaneous miscarriage after a few months of pregnancy, with some even having fetal demise in utero.
(6) Tubal blockage. Inflammation of the fallopian tubes leads to the accumulation of cold and dampness, qi stagnation and blood stasis, obstructing meridians and hindering the fusion of eggs and sperm, resulting in infertility. These patients often have menstrual irregularities or increased leukorrhea.
(7) Abortion. A significant portion of female patients have had abortions (some have undergone multiple abortions). Some patients, due to inexperience or limited resources, failed to replenish their blood and qi after the procedure. These patients often have a pale complexion and poor blood and qi, with some also suffering from congenital deficiency, poor postnatal nutrition, or chronic illness.
(8) Anovulation. This symptom is rare among female infertility cases and is often accompanied by menstrual irregularities, amenorrhea, or severe leukorrhea. It is the most common symptom of female infertility.
(9) Other diseases requiring surgery to remove half of the fallopian tubes. This is a rare condition, and the severity of the illness is usually not serious. However, losing half of the fallopian tubes hinders sperm passage, which can also lead to infertility.
