Progestogen effects

Patient's question:

Please ask the doctor, how many days after taking progesterone will the menstruation come???

Doctor's answer:

Progestogen for menstrual induction, which thickens the endometrium and causes it to shed prematurely. Three or four days after the injection, menstruation will occur. The injection should be administered 7 to 10 days before the expected onset of menstruation. If menstruation does not occur after receiving the injection, it could be due to insufficient progesterone supplementation, pregnancy, or other underlying conditions. Further medical evaluation is recommended.
