Patient's question:
At the lower end of the left testicle, there is a lump that is sometimes hard and sometimes soft. It doesn't hurt when touched. At the upper end of the right testicle, there is a round, hard mass the size of a peanut! Lightly squeezing causes a slight pain! The scrotum sometimes feels itchy and damp, with a burning sensation. Sitting down sometimes makes it worse!Doctor's answer:
Patient is male, 28 years old. There is a lump at the lower end of the left testicle, sometimes hard and sometimes soft, painless when palpated. There is a round, hard mass the size of a peanut at the upper end of the right testicle! Mild palpation causes mild pain! The scrotum sometimes feels itchy and damp, with a burning sensation, and sometimes worsens when sitting. Ultrasound examination: Both testicles are of normal size and shape, with clear and smooth tunics, uniform low echo in the parenchyma, no abnormal blood flow signals inside the testicles, no separation in the tunica vaginalis, and both epididymides are of normal size with no abnormal echoes! The diameter of the left spermatic vein at the root of the scrotum is about 2.2 mm, with slightly increased honeycomb-like fluid areas. CDFI shows venous blood flow signals within the dark areas.Advice: Treatment suggestion: The lump at the lower end of the left testicle may be a varicocele. The hard, round mass at the upper end of the right testicle was not mentioned or detected by ultrasound, and the possible factors or causes are likely due to its density being similar to that of the testicle, making it undetectable by the instrument. A routine examination of prostatic fluid is necessary.
