Left testicle is slightly abnormal

Patient's question:

I noticed some abnormalities in my testicles, so I checked them myself with my hands. I found small lumps near the connection points of the testicles with the blood vessels. However, the lump on the left side is noticeably larger and rounder than the one on the right, and it's easier to feel. When I gently pinched it, it caused pain (though the right one also does, but it's less prominent). Sometimes when I sit or sleep at night, I experience a slight, vague pain, which seems to be caused by the small lump on the left testicle.
What could be the issue? What factors or causes might be responsible? Is it serious?

Doctor's answer:

Hello! This is likely caused by epididymitis, and it is recommended to go to the hospital for examination and treatment.
