Features: The home is the foundation of a person, and people make their homes their abode. If one is at peace, the home brings prosperity; if not, the family declines——《Yellow Emperor's Manual of the I Ching (Feng Shui)》。The lotus flowers in the wind stretch ten acres of green together, with the water's color and the sky's light blending into a deep blue.
Homes are where humanity thrives and where people rejuvenate, enjoying the joy of family life. People stand because of their homes, and homes exist because of people. When people and homes are in harmony, the energy flows smoothly, and the mind feels at ease. Living in a auspicious home allows one to absorb the vitality of mountains and rivers, the essence of the sun and moon, cultivating one's character and nurturing a natural, harmonious life.
When we visit the Forbidden City in Beijing or the gardens of Suzhou and Hangzhou, we are awestruck by their ornate beams and painted rafters, their golden and brilliant splendor, filling us with admiration and longing. But when we encounter barren land with fierce winds and sandstorms, we feel repulsion and avoid it.
Mountains and clear waters, sheltered from the wind and facing the sun, bring joy to the spirit. The gentle flow of water and the lush growth of plants make people linger in delight. The singing of orioles and swallows, the chirping of birds and the fragrance of flowers, fill the heart with ease and openness.
