Features: Judicial documents have the following characteristics:
1. They must be prepared by the public security organ, the procuratorial organ, and the people's court according to their respective powers, that is, documents prepared by the public security organ based on investigation, the procuratorial organ based on prosecution, and the people's court based on adjudication.
2. They must be prepared during the process of handling various criminal, civil, and other cases according to certain litigation procedures. In other words, except for civil cases and criminal self-defense cases that are handled directly by the people's court according to law, criminal cases must be handled by the public security organ, the procuratorial organ, and the people's court according to certain litigation procedures.
3. They have legal force, which is a major characteristic that distinguishes judicial documents from general documents. That is to say, once such documents are legally prepared and take effect, the relevant parties must strictly abide by them; otherwise, the state will resort to coercion to enforce them.
