Features: With over two thousand years of development, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has a systematic and comprehensive theoretical foundation and a rich and diverse set of practical clinical skills. To excel in TCM, both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, are essential and non-negotiable. Currently, TCM education still needs to be strengthened in terms of clinical operation skills, hands-on ability, and overall quality. How can we cultivate advanced TCM professionals for the 21st century? What qualities should advanced TCM professionals possess? How can we enhance TCM quality education to meet the requirements of inheriting and developing TCM scholarship? To address these questions, our institution has launched the TCM Talent Quality Project and organized experts in TCM, TCM education, and educational management to compile the "TCM Talent Quality Project Series." As one of the books in the series, this volume aims to strengthen the guidance of TCM theory in clinical practice. It focuses on addressing weaknesses in teaching, enhancing students' thinking skills in syndrome differentiation and treatment, and improving their clinical operation skills to cultivate qualified TCM clinical professionals. Based on the teaching (teaching syllabus) requirements of undergraduate medical programs in TCM colleges, we have compiled and organized practical basic skills across various clinical disciplines of TCM, primarily focusing on "mastering" and "familiarizing" skills while appropriately adding some "understanding" skills to broaden knowledge. Clinical TCM skills should encompass both mental and manual abilities. We strive to highlight the unique characteristics and advantages of TCM, ensuring the writing is targeted, standardized, and actionable. As part of the "TCM Talent Quality Project Series," the content of this book is coordinated with other volumes to avoid unnecessary repetition.
