Fortress Besieged - (High School Part) (Revised Edition)

Author: Qian Zhongshu
Publisher:
Publish Date: 1991-02-01
Features: This is an interesting book. To be precise, it is a wise book, as its interestingness stems from the insight and satire of a wise person into human nature. Fortress Besieged shows us how a truly intelligent person views life and how they express their "views" and "feelings" using the words that all writers must use. The novel can also be written this way, and there is such a level in the high realm of the novelist. It can be said that the charm of Fortress Besieged is dual: one is the life itself revealed by the author, and the other is the author revealing themselves. After reading Qian's works, including those academic ones, especially this Fortress Besieged, you will feel that everything around you, including yourself, and even some things you were quite enthusiastic about, has taken on a significant comedic hue.
