Hunter - Excerpts from the Novels of Jia Pingwa (Short Story Volume)

Author: Jia Pingwa
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2006-05-01
Features: Over the years, several publishing houses have independently selected and published many of my individual short story collections, but each one fell short of my expectations. The mixed versions were not good for me, nor for the readers. Now, I have selected these pieces myself, presenting a relatively complete collection of short and medium-length fiction as a summary for myself and a convenient resource for readers. After turning fifty, my ambitions still burn, and I remain vigilant against stagnation and the tendency to write slickly due to scholarly isolation. Publishing this collection marks the end of my self-absorbed solitude, and loneliness will follow as I pick up my and embark on a new journey.
