Artist Han Qixiang - Essence of Jia Pingwa's Novels (Middle-Volume)

Author: Jia Pingwa
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2006-05-01
Features: Over the years, several publishing houses have independently selected and published many of my short story collections, but each one fell short of my expectations. The mix of versions has not been good for me or for readers. Now, I have selected these pieces myself, presenting a relatively complete collection of short and medium-length fiction as a summary for myself and a convenient resource for readers. After turning fifty, my ambitions remain, and I remain vigilant against stagnation and the tendency to write slickly due to academic isolation. Publishing this collection, I will no longer be self-absorbed, and loneliness will follow as I pick up my and set off anew.
