It employs systematic dynamics and regional economic research methods, starting from the input-output internal structure of industries in international metropolitan corridors, to establish a systematic dynamics model of the multiplier effect in international metropolitan corridors. Through an economic benefit analysis of the industrial structure optimization and adjustment in 15 cities in the Yangtze River Delta, it calculates the multiplier effect generated by the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration in forming an international metropolitan corridor. According to the principle of complementary advantages, the structure and layout of industries are optimized, making the input-output ratio of the entire metropolitan corridor after adjustment greater than that before adjustment, thereby demonstrating the role of the multiplier effect in the structural adjustment of the metropolitan corridor. Although the multiplier effect in this book differs significantly from the famous Keynesian multiplier effect in terms of definition and connotation, the author borrows the concept of Keynesian investment multiplier effect to propose for the first time the concept and connotation of the multiplier effect in international metropolitan corridors. This is still very meaningful for exploring quantitative analytical methods to measure the multiplier effect in international metropolitan corridors and can provide reference for related research. Additionally, the energy levels of cities within the metropolitan corridor obtained through regional comprehensive economic gradient analysis in this book are integrated with the systematic dynamics model of the multiplier effect in international metropolitan corridors by establishing a deviation-share model and a location quotient analysis model to select the dominant industries of each city. This is also a rare achievement.
