He has delved deeply into the Inner Canon and Outer Canon, and has thoroughly studied the Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon and the Mawangdui Bamboo Slips. Over more than 50 years of medical practice, he has extensively absorbed the strengths of various schools and has established the theory of TCM Acupuncture and Moxibustion Pathogenesis that "diseases are often caused by qi stagnation, and the method involves three openings," as well as a unique acupuncture and moxibustion treatment system—He's Acupuncture Three-Opening Method.
The Micro-Opening Method refers to the thin-needle acupuncture technique, which aims to unblock meridians and regulate qi and blood. This method is widely used in acupuncture and moxibustion clinics, including conditions of internal injury, external pathogens, deficiency and excess, cold and heat, and is suitable for all ages and genders. It is the foundation of all acupuncture techniques.
The Warm-Opening Method involves using a specially designed needle heated to red-hot and then inserted into specific acupoints or body areas using certain techniques to achieve the goal of treating diseases. Over a long history, fire needle therapy has continuously been improved, developed, and refined, and has now become a unique medical system within acupuncture and moxibustion therapy.
The Bloodletting Method, also known as the Strong-Opening Method, involves using a three-edged needle or other acupuncture tools to puncture superficial blood vessels at certain body areas. Depending on the specific condition, an appropriate amount of blood is extracted to treat diseases by resolving bloodletting, regulating qi, unblocking meridians, and activating collaterals.
This book provides a detailed introduction to the clinical experience of He's Acupuncture Three-Opening Method.
