Features: The collection of essays presented to the readers is a crystallization of the exploration and research conducted by graduate students from the International Relations program in the World History discipline of the History Department at Capital Normal University in the field of modern and contemporary international relations in recent years. As a student, teacher, and editor of this program, I would like to provide some remarks on this book. The World History discipline of the History Department at Capital Normal University was granted master's degree in 1981, doctoral degree authorization in 1984, and approved as a postdoctoral mobile station in 1998. In 1987 and 2002, this discipline was rated as a key discipline in Beijing and underwent development. International Relations has always been one of the key research directions of this discipline. Through long-term development, we have strived to broaden our research fields while adhering to the use of solid original archival materials, gradually forming our own characteristics. This collection includes 27 essays, covering fields such as politics, economy, military, thought, and international organizations since modern times. In addition to one essay by the founder of our discipline and profession, Mr. Qi Shirong, most of the selected articles are from the master's and doctoral theses or postdoctoral exit reports of students and have all been publicly published.
