They fully the grand backdrop of the era and society, as well as the dance of love illuminated by the spotlight under this thick backdrop. He adheres to traditional and straightforward forms, yet the works' realm is modern, humanistic, and reflects the desolation of life, the wholeness of stories, leaving us with a contemplation of the past hardships of this nation and people, as well as a praise for the brilliance of life's flowers. It explores three spaces: the great life, the great society, and the great culture, while also incorporating the grassroots, daily life, and even somewhat trivial life processes. It elevates life with perception and observes life from a folk perspective. The author searches for folk inscriptions and weaves them into the characters' hobbies and plot development, giving the current life of Gao Laozhuang a profound historical depth. The text, consisting of dozens of characters without chapters, flows like the original pulse of life. The insertion of inscriptions serves to divide and isolate, creating a sense of detachment for the reader. The book oscillates between grandeur and detail, antiquity and modernity, culture and wilderness, and smoothness and roughness, both culturally and artistically, making it a harmonious match.
