Features: As busy white-collar workers, we have become accustomed to replacing life with work, and health has unknowingly slipped to the "second line." But can work, even when dedicated or sometimes obsessive, truly make life better? The answer is No! Due to neglecting health, white-collar workers often only realize the problem when it becomes obvious. To address this, Professor Wang Sheng wrote this book. As the Vice Chairman of the Occupational Health and Occupational Diseases Branch of the Chinese Preventive Medical Association and the Chairman of the China-South Korea-Japan Occupational Health Association, Professor Wang Sheng has extensive experience in preventing and treating occupational diseases. In the book, he provides various self-assessment tests for sub-health conditions, allowing us to promptly understand our health status. Additionally, Professor Wang has compiled a disease list for white-collar workers: (stenosing tenosynovitis of the hand and wrist), periarthritis of the shoulder joint, cervical spondylosis, hyperlipidemia, peptic ulcer, irritable bowel syndrome, air conditioning disease, sick building syndrome, and neurasthenia—all of which are common among white-collar workers. Beyond discussing conventional treatments for these diseases, Professor Wang also offers detailed home remedies for each condition, ranging from natural therapies to health exercises, aromatherapy to dietary plans, providing a wide variety of options for white-collar workers to choose from based on their needs. The ultimate purpose of work is to achieve happiness, and health is the prerequisite for happiness. Yet, people often forget this ultimate goal in the process of working. For this reason, Professor Wang reminds us in the book: Do not overextend your life, and do not wake up only when illness strikes!
