Features: The story takes place in an old-fashioned house in S City from the 1930s. A young couple, Childhood and Yu'er, return to this old house from afar. Childhood was born here, and during his childhood, some changes occurred in his family, forcing him to leave far away. He is the sole heir to this house. Now, after bringing Yu'er back to live here, a series of mysterious and baffling events unfold, leaving Childhood and Yu'er feeling terrified, panicked, and disoriented. Yu'er even becomes dazed, and this is closely linked to a series of unexpected deaths. The author excels at creating suspenseful atmospheres. Throughout the book, he repeatedly describes several types of "cat's eyes"—the eyes of a cat, the peephole installed on the door, and the gemstone gold-green cat's eye—making the work filled with a strong sense of mystery and running through the entire story. The story is imaginative, with a bizarre and winding plot, full of suspense.
