Emergency abortion

Patient's question:

Hello, Doctor! I had a medication abortion in July 2015, but it wasn't completely effective, so I underwent a D&C procedure.
In October 2015, due to concerns about the medication abortion not being thorough, I had an (painless abortion).
In January 2016, I became pregnant again and wanted to have a child, but I was worried about the effects of the previous procedures on the fetus. Now I am 38 days pregnant. Could you please advise which abortion method would be better this time—medication abortion or surgical abortion?
Follow-up question: Hello, Doctor! If I choose a medication abortion this time, what if it doesn't work and I have to undergo another D&C procedure? This would be a heavy psychological burden for me.

Doctor's answer:

The above medication has no adverse effects on the fetus. If you haven't taken any other medications, I suggest you do not have an abortion. Because frequent abortions can lead to habitual abortion. Then you will regret it. If you insist on having an abortion, both options are available.
