What medication is good for treating pelvic inflammatory disease

Patient's question:

I experienced persistent abdominal pain on the 14th, and the doctor diagnosed it as pelvic inflammatory disease. I received injections for 4 days and took for 6 days. On the 8th, my period arrived, but there was still residual red discharge from the vagina. The discharge was thick and yellowish with blood. By the 26th, the abdominal pain had lessened, and the discharge gradually stopped. The discharge also returned to normal, becoming less frequent. I then switched to oral and tablets. Now, the abdominal pain has disappeared, but I occasionally feel discomfort, and the vagina occasionally has gray discharge. I don’t know what the cause is. Could you please advise the doctor? Is the condition fully resolved now? Do I need to continue taking medication? If so, would Western medicine, Chinese patent medicine, or traditional Chinese medicine be more effective? Thank you and looking forward to your advice.

Doctor's answer:

Why isn't anyone helping me?
