Features: There are countless stone inscriptions in China, and many calligraphers have excelled in the art. However, due to the passage of time, many inscriptions, including those highly regarded by calligraphers, have suffered varying degrees of damage to their characters and wear on the pages. To facilitate modern learners in practicing and imitating, and to provide the best calligraphy models for those who practice writing, our publishing house has specially invited relevant scholars to select and examine some famous inscriptions from past dynasties, restoring the missing characters in the inscriptions and cleaning the worn-out parts of the pages, making the inscriptions complete and the pages refreshed. The key to practicing calligraphy lies in mastering the rules of brushwork. Since calligraphers have each had their own unique brushwork techniques, to make it easier for learners, we have attached diagrams showing the brushwork rules of each style before the inscriptions. Calligraphy is a unique art in which the author expresses the beauty of the spirit through the writing of Chinese characters. A good inscription is like a beautiful piece of writing, and a skilled calligrapher can turn its strokes into gold, leaving a lasting impression. To make it easier for learners to read and write, we have proofread and punctuated all the characters in this set of "Newly Compiled Complete Editions of Famous Inscriptions," added appropriate annotations, and presented them in simplified horizontal characters. For the first time, our publishing house is launching five famous inscriptions by renowned calligraphers: "Ouyang Xun's Calligraphy of the Nine-Storeyed Pagoda," "Liu Fangquan's Calligraphy of the Xuanshimita," "Yan Zhenqing's Calligraphy of the Dabota," "Zhao Mengfu's Calligraphy of Shouchuntang," and "Su Shi's Calligraphy of Zuitingji," along with their simplified characters. Other famous inscriptions by renowned calligraphers will be released.
