Features: This reference book was compiled as supplementary material for the "International Law" textbook, one of the 21st Century Legal Series textbooks organized and edited by the Law School of Renmin University of China. Compared to the textbook format, the corresponding Part "Summary of Arguments" in this reference book has a slightly adjusted structure, specifically by treating "Basic Principles of International Law" as a separate chapter. Therefore, this reference book includes thirteen chapters. This section forms the main body and focus of the book. We have strived to present in a comprehensive and complete manner the views and perspectives of various scholars on relevant international law issues, particularly the views of scholars in China after the founding of the People's Republic of China. We hope to provide learners with the necessary theoretical and practical support for independent judgment, analysis, and the development of their own insights.
Regarding the reference materials, our primary criterion for selection was to meet the basic needs of international law study and highlight the essence of international law. Therefore, the materials selected are mostly formal international conventions and domestic legislation that other branches of law do not cover. At the end of this reference book, some necessary appendices are included as supplementary materials for further understanding related international law issues. The Part "Summary of Arguments" provided in this reference book, with its clear structure, multi-perspective approach, and reflection of latest research findings, along with the reference materials, not only helps international law beginners understand and grasp relevant international law issues but also prepares a necessary and convenient path for those who wish to further study and research.
