Features: Literary historiography encompasses two main aspects: one is the historical of the process of literary history research, which is what we refer to as the history of literary historiography; the other is the theoretical summary of the principles and methods of the literary historiography discipline, which can be termed literary historiography theory or literary historiography principles. The principles of historiography and the history of historiography constitute the basic scope of literary historiography. They are both based on a comprehensive examination of literary history research. In addition, individual historians or literary history works can also be reviewed, which is called historiographical criticism. However, the focus of historiographical criticism is either inclined toward history or toward theory, ultimately still subordinate to the history of historiography or historiography principles. The division of these two major sections is naturally extremely rough, and further consideration suggests it could be subdivided into several levels.
