Is it a uterine fibroid

Patient's question:

Detailed medical condition and consultation purpose: Diagnosed with uterine fibroids in May of this year. Subsequently, visited the hospital and the doctor prescribed Gongtuoqing to take. It has been normal until December to January of 2006 when there were three menstrual periods. The second period was 7 days after the first, and the third was 11 days after the second. The rest were normal. Wondering if this is a sign of menopause or related to the uterine fibroids.

Doctor's answer:

It is recommended to have an ultrasound examination to check if the uterine fibroids are pressing on the endometrium. If they are pressing on the endometrium, it cannot be ruled out that the vaginal bleeding is caused by the fibroids. If there is no pressure on the endometrium, it should be considered an endocrine disorder (not excluding the possibility of impending menopause).
