Features: In the classic works, the materials used for writing couplets are also particularly rich. During the late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty, couplets were occasionally written on silk scrolls, but later they were mainly written on paper, with vertical scrolls being less common. This book selects famous couplets by renowned calligraphers, starting from the late Ming Dynasty and ending in the Republic of China, including 62 calligraphers and 65 couplets, with an additional 42 calligraphers and 52 couplets. These works feature diverse calligraphic styles and rich forms, representing a certain degree of representativeness. In terms of content selection, the book avoids stale and outdated language, prioritizing readability, interest, and philosophical depth.
