What medication is used during perimenopause?

Patient's question:

Hello!
I am a postmenopausal patient and am using Premarin as an adjunctive treatment under the guidance of a doctor. I take 0.625mg of Premarin daily for 21 days, followed by an additional 1mg of progesterone for the last seven days. After stopping the medication for 14 days at the end of the second cycle, I have not experienced withdrawal bleeding. Could you please answer the following questions?
1. Is this phenomenon normal?
2. When should I resume medication?
3. Should my medication regimen or dosage be adjusted?
Thank you!
First follow-up question: Hello!
I would like your response to be tailored to the patient's concerns.

Doctor's answer:

Estrogen must only be taken after a gynecologist's examination. Patients should consume more foods rich in high-quality protein, such as liver, eggs, milk, lean meat, and green leafy vegetables and fruits rich in iron and copper, to improve adverse symptoms caused by menstrual disorders.
