Features: As a scientist, Freud was quite scattered, superficial, and even decadent, but as a writer, he was a master. Although he ultimately made us realize that, in the end, humans are all the same, all struggling in the mire of low-level desires and instincts. This is some comfort to us. Epicurus taught us that the beginning and foundation of all good things are the comfort of the stomach. Because even the most cultured and sophisticated animals must consider this issue. This philosopher said a blunt truth: all the advancement of the divine, moral, and cultural depends on the extent to which our physical needs are met. Thales had no interest in women. When his mother urged him to marry, he always said, "I don’t have time for that." Later, when he was nearing old age, his mother brought it up again, and he replied, "The time for doing such things has passed now." In reality, life 4,000 years ago wasn’t so bad. People could live comfortably, undisturbed, doing their daily tasks, such as finding food, finding sexual partners, and finding a place to shelter. Everything was so simple. No one worried about art or new curtains, let alone morality and law. The strong had the right; the weak, though unlucky, could clearly understand and see things. If the weak could receive the favor of the strong, they could also live very well. Women had already invented beer and delicious food at that time, because this could make men lazy, no longer beating their own women, and not engaging with other women. With some corresponding skills, even the physically weak could live quite comfortably. It was almost a paradise-like life. Although there were certain hardships and difficulties, there was no risk of being killed by someone’s slander. But later, this comfort suddenly ended. The carefree days of singing, dancing, feasting, and belching by the fire became history. Because, at that moment, a group of troublemakers suddenly appeared.
