How am I not pregnant?

Patient's question:

I had multiple sexual encounters with my husband without taking any preventive measures, but I have never become pregnant. Moreover, I didn't see any blood or feel any pain during our first sexual encounter. What could be the reason? Sometimes I wonder if my hymen didn't break either. Is this possible?

Doctor's answer:

Hello: The hymen has long been broken before sexual intercourse, and the possibility of it remaining intact is zero. Not feeling pain during the first sexual experience is because the hymen was already somewhat damaged before the intercourse, such as: engaging in intense sports, etc., can all lead to the hymen being broken. Therefore, you didn't see blood or feel pain during your first sexual experience. If you haven't been pregnant after two years of marriage, it should be diagnosed as infertility. Infertility has many causes, such as: irregular menstruation, uterine displacement, inflammation, fallopian tube blockage...... all of which can lead to infertility. It is recommended that you go to the hospital for a detailed examination before further treatment.
