Is the abdominal bloating caused by adnexitis?

Patient's question:

Hello Doctor!
I would like to ask you something. I have had two ultrasounds due to thickening in my left abdominal appendages, and both showed no abnormalities. The doctor said there wasn’t a major issue, but I feel very upset. Lately, I’ve been experiencing bloating in my abdomen, and today I have some pressure and mild pain in my lower right abdomen, like a small lump.
I’m afraid it’s the same as before. (Because previously, my left abdomen was like this—starting with a small, slightly painful lump, which gradually thickened and hardened, and then there was no pain anymore). I’ve been to several hospitals, but no one could figure out what was wrong. Every time I go, they just do an ultrasound, but it doesn’t reveal anything. Could you please advise me?

Doctor's answer:

Hello, if there is obvious bloating, it is likely that there may be a more common disease. It could also be caused by gynecological problems such as pelvic inflammatory disease or appendicitis. If your condition is clearly uncomfortable, it is recommended that you go to the hospital to see a doctor for a check-up to confirm what is happening and receive timely treatment.
