Features: The purpose of this book is to help young friends who love singing and appreciating songs to learn two types of notation knowledge in a relatively short time and at a faster pace, and to initially master the ability to read music and sing. The main content of the book, the arrangement order of its chapters, and the selection of musical examples are all designed as much as possible according to the principle of "from simple to complex, easy for self-study, and learning for application." Each chapter is accompanied by targeted sight-singing exercises. The selected musical examples and sight-singing exercises take into account the requirements of this section while also striving to ensure singability, in order to enhance readers' interest in analyzing and practicing singing. Readers should carefully analyze and understand the typical examples selected and perform sight-singing exercises according to the requirements to achieve better results. To accommodate the content arrangement and readers' practice needs, all examples and exercises before Chapter 7 are in 2/4 and 3/4 time signatures. Before Chapter 8, both notations only use keys without accidentals. Therefore, some examples have been adjusted in terms of time signature, and some examples have been altered in key signature. Additionally, due to space limitations, for songs with multiple stanzas, only selected lyrics are used.
