Features: Transformation from old to new, a blink of an eye. The changes in Guangzhou over the past decade are undeniable. This is the crystallization of the decision-making of the city's leadership, the crystallization of the sweat of every urban construction worker, and also the crystallization of the hard work of Guangzhou's urban planning professionals. The Guangzhou Urban Planning and Design Institute has been rooted in Guangzhou and served the city for a long time, making outstanding contributions to our urban planning cause. It is an important force and a vanguard team in Guangzhou's planning ranks, and also one of the model windows for urban construction technical service work.
The institute's over 30 employees are primarily young people full of passion and vitality. They possess both the ability to work collaboratively and the competence to handle tasks independently. They have continuously completed high-quality planning and design tasks within short periods, serving as a crucial technical force in our planning work and providing strong technical support for the smooth operation of various departments in our bureau. Unknowingly, the institute has already celebrated its tenth anniversary. Over these ten years, it has left behind the ideals of young planning professionals and the radiant city of today. Riding the wave of the 2010 Asian Games, Guangzhou has seized the historic opportunity to build itself into an international regional metropolis. In the coming years, Guangzhou will leverage the Asian Games as a chance to accelerate urban development and fully create a modern Asian Games city. The tasks facing our planning professionals will become even more challenging, but the future achievements will undoubtedly be even more glorious.
--"The road ahead is long and arduous, but we must forge ahead anew,"-- we hope that the colleagues of the Guangzhou Urban Planning and Design Institute will continue to strive and draw even more beautiful blueprints for our city's tomorrow!
