Features: The relationship between Chinese philosophy and classical interpretation is destined to be intertwined. Philosophical research and the study of the history of philosophy are not the same thing; only the study of the history of philosophy is truly the study of philosophical classics. However, in the tradition of Chinese thought, the distinction between these two is not clearly defined. In form, it is reflected in the act of annotating classics or academic activities. This collection includes some research findings on the history of Chinese philosophy (including the history of thought-philosophy) by some faculty and students of the Department of Philosophy at Sun Yat-sen University. The content focuses on the pre-Qin school of thought and the Confucianism of the Song and Ming dynasties, demonstrating significant reference value. Generally, people write as they read. Usually, meticulous authors are also meticulous readers, and vice versa. Unless one reads carefully for themselves, they cannot know what careful reading truly is. Reading precedes writing; before writing, we have already read; we learn to write through reading. One learns to write carefully by carefully reading good books—reading those books that have been carefully written—with care. Therefore, by studying an author's reading habits, we may be able to anticipate their writing habits.
