Features: The Cambridge BEC Preliminary Test Collection: Advanced is designed for candidates preparing for the Cambridge ESOL examination center's Business English Certificate Advanced examination. It includes four complete sets of Business English Certificate Advanced examination papers. The Business English Certificate examination is held at recognized BEC examination centers and takes place on six fixed dates each year, with two sessions held annually in China. The primary target audience for these examinations is learners who wish to obtain an English language certificate related to business. The examination standards provide an ideal focus for business English courses. The BEC examination tests English language skills in a work context, rather than business knowledge. BEC has three levels—Preliminary, Vantage, and Advanced. The levels of the Business English Certificate examination are aligned with the five levels set by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages / Cambridge University Language Assessment Standards and the language teaching syllabus developed by the European Commission. Within the scope of the British National Curriculum, the Business English examination also meets the national standards for language reading and writing set by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority in the UK. This CD is designed to be used in conjunction with the book "Cambridge BEC Preliminary Test Collection: Advanced."
