Patient's question:
Duration of onset and persistence of symptoms: This morning, I went for a run (approximately 5 minutes), used the restroom, and when I wiped with toilet paper, I noticed light red blood spots. I thought it was my period (I had my last period on November 11th, and it usually comes two days earlier the following month), wondering why it was so early. However, later that whole day, I realized I hadn’t actually had my period!Note: I was diagnosed with candidiasis vaginitis and second-degree cervical erosion one week ago, and I am actively treating it. Every night, I first clean with baking soda water, then use Tinidazole effervescent tablets and Shu’an sanitary products.
Doctor's answer:
Hello, you have a fungal vaginal infection. For treatment, vaginal irrigation can be done using a 2% to 4% baking soda solution, once or twice daily, with 2 weeks constituting one course of treatment. Vaginal medication is generally administered using suppositories. Clotrimazole suppositories are used once nightly, inserted into the vagina after irrigation, with 10 to 14 days constituting one course of treatment; or Daktarin suppositories are used once nightly, inserted into the vagina after irrigation, with 7 days constituting one course of treatment. Cervical erosion and abnormal vaginal discharge are caused by vaginal inflammation. This is often associated with unhygienic sexual practices, multiple induced abortions, uterine curettage, scraping of the uterine cavity, or excessive cleaning. It is recommended to rinse with warm water and then apply Nifuratel vaginal soft capsules externally.
