Vaginal discharge is yellow every day, what should I do with right lower abdominal pain?

Patient's question:

This year I am 25 years old. After getting married, I didn't use any form of contraception for more than two years, and finally managed to get pregnant in September 2004. However, at five weeks of pregnancy, I felt a slight pain in my abdomen and noticed a drop of brown discharge from my vagina. An ultrasound examination revealed that the embryo had no yolk sac and no fetal heartbeat. Out of desperation, I underwent an abortion without anesthesia at six weeks.
Since then, apart from my menstrual period, I have had yellow discharge every day from my vagina. It doesn’t itch or have a bad odor, but I experience lower back pain and lower right abdominal pain. It has been a full year now. During this year, I have sought medical help everywhere, but doctors generally listen to my story and, without conducting any tests, just assume it’s an infection. As a result, I have taken a lot of antibiotics, but it hasn’t helped.

Doctor's answer:

Consider it could be pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). You can use Jinji capsules, Sanmiao pills, and Gufu Zhida tablets for treatment. PID may present with lower abdominal pain and increased vaginal discharge. If it's severe, hospitalization may be necessary. Regular follow-up and frequent changes of underwear and pants are recommended. Pay attention to daily hygiene habits and bathe frequently.
It is advised to visit the hospital for a leukorrhea biopsy. After confirming the type of bacterial infection, the appropriate medication can be determined. Avoid self-medication until the cause is clear, as this may delay treatment. Maintain good hygiene habits in daily life to prevent infection and ensure external genital hygiene. Avoid sexual intercourse during menstruation.
Choose cotton underwear that is soft and maintains good breathability. Wash and dry underwear in the sun daily. Wash the external genital area with warm water every day. Use boiling water to disinfect the basin and towels used for cleaning the external genital area. Always ensure underwear is thoroughly dried in the sun after washing.
