Features: The establishment of New Confucianism Research aims to reconstruct the holistic concept of Chinese scholarship and, on this new foundation, to engage more proactively and effectively in academic research across various fields, disciplines, and specialties. "New Confucianism" does not exclude any valuable research findings and does not deny the necessity of academic debate and discussion, primarily publishing long-form academic papers ranging from two to twelve thousand words. This book is the third issue, mainly including Wang Furén's The Logical Structure of Confucius's Sociological Theory, Li Qing's A Study on the Origins of Painting and Sculpture Art in Loulan and Shanshan During the Wei, Jin, and Southern and Northern Dynasties, Zhou Xing's A Review of Realistic Themes in a Hundred Years of Chinese Cinema, and more. This book provides a platform for publication, embodying our specific understanding of the academic concept of "New Confucianism" through its inclusiveness and rigor. New Confucianism Research primarily publishes long-form academic papers ranging from two to twelve thousand words. This is not our preference but rather because most current academic journals focus on publishing papers under 20,000 words, while academic books published by publishers are usually not less than 12,000 words. This makes it difficult for long-form academic papers between two and twelve thousand words to find publication opportunities, and to some extent, it has led to the homogenization of academic writing styles. We hope to provide a platform for these hard-to-publish long-form academic papers and make our academic writing styles more free and diverse.
