Once, there was a wicked and arrogant prince with great ambitions, wanting to conquer all the countries in the world. He led his soldiers into battle, and his troops trampled the wheat fields, set fire to the farmers' houses, and looted their grain and wealth. His power grew stronger each day, and his name struck fear into everyone's hearts. Yet, he was not satisfied. He thought, "I am so great! But I need even more wealth! No one else's power should ever surpass mine!"
The prince ordered his statue to be erected in all the squares and churches. However, the priest said, "Your power is indeed great, but you are still under God's control. You cannot place your statue in the church."
"Very well," the wicked prince replied. "I will conquer God! I will break free from his control." He ordered the construction of an unstoppable tank. By sitting in the center and pressing a button, it could shoot out thousands of shells in all directions. The front of the tank was adorned with hundreds of large eagles—thus, the prince flew toward the sun.
God was furious at the prince's atrocities and sent an angel to confront him. The evil prince immediately fired thousands of hail-like shells at the angel, but they all bounced back, struck by the angel's radiant feathers. One of the angel's feathers fell from its snow-white wings onto the prince's ship, like a lead weight weighing over 500 tons, sinking the ship. The prince's ship fell from the sky, and the prince inside was terrified.
Still not giving up, the prince spent ten years creating a fleet of tanks that could fly in the sky and attacked God again. This time, God sent a swarm of mosquitoes—just a small group. These tiny insects buzzed around the prince, sucking his blood. Enraged, he drew his sword and swung wildly, but he couldn't hit them. He then ordered his men to wrap him in durable cloth so the mosquitoes wouldn't bite him. However, a small mosquito stuck to the cloth, crawled into the prince's ear, and bit him inside, making him feel like he was on fire.
In a fit of rage, the prince ripped off the cloth and his clothes, but it was no use. He could no longer command his troops. The prince wanted to challenge God, yet he was defeated by a tiny mosquito.
Bedtime Wisdom
One cannot become cruel or wicked, for it only brings harm and suffering to others. When you stand against others, be careful—your enemy may be right beside you, perhaps the one you overlook or dismiss as insignificant.
