Combining the summarized theories of regular script calligraphy with representative works of calligraphers, he compiled and published the standard practice books for the Ou, Yan, and Liu styles, as well as the regular script calligraphy structure practice book in the Liu style. After the "Cultural Revolution," his eldest daughter, Liu Lun, continued her father's legacy to compile additional standard practice books for other calligraphic styles. Since their public release in 1962, these practice books have accumulated millions of copies in circulation and remain consistently popular among calligraphy enthusiasts and learners.
