Features: This book draws its materials not only from Ci Lü (Regulations of Ci) and Qing Ding Ci Pu (Imperially Appointed Ci Rhyme Book), but also from the Ci collections, discussions on Ci, Ci rhyme books, and novels of various authors from the Tang, Five Dynasties, Song, Yuan, and later periods, including all the Ci titles cited in these works. It also includes self-composed tunes or those old tunes given new names in later times. The book was first published in 1958, and a revised edition was published in 1984. Over the past two decades, the compiler has extensively collected more Ci tune names, increasing the total by one-third compared to the previous edition. It records over 2,700 Ci names, including both the standard names and variant names, as well as those of the same tune but with different names, making it an indispensable reference book for Ci name research.
