Author Bio: Hou Xiaohong is an associate professor. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics (International Trade) from the University of International Business and Economics and a Master's degree in Education (Curriculum Design and Instruction) from Queen's University in Canada. After graduation, she worked at the Training Center of the Ministry of Commerce (formerly the College of Management Cadres of the Ministry of Foreign Trade) for over 20 years. During this time, she visited the UK Henley Management College for exchange, pursued a master's degree at Queen's University in Canada, and was employed as the deputy training manager of a group and the training director of a company. She has published over 10 articles in newspapers and magazines, translated 2 books, and co-edited 4 works. Currently, she teaches at the University of International Business and Economics in Shanghai.
